Hello world! CN Photography is back in action after a long winter break!

If you haven't noticed you're at a sparkling new website! You're welcome to take a look around and check out my portfolio and maybe even book a session (wink wink). I'm going to use this "welcome back" post to fill you in on some new things on the site as well as everything thats been going on in my own life!

Lets start with my life because if you're following me on social media you know that ALOT has changed in the past few months.

Between the months of August and April I was blessed, privileged and thankful to carry a beautiful baby girl. Our first!

I absolutely loved all 39 weeks of pregnancy (my water broke early)! And I feel weird saying my own child gives me baby fever but she's just so dang cute. After 39 weeks and some change, on a Monday night, April 4th, my water broke and that same night we welcomed our sweet little girl into this world via C section. While this was not at all my plan, home girl was ready to be out of there and meet the world! I had to remind myself the following weeks that this did not catch The Lord by surprise and I am not any less of a mother because of it. In fact it was a way better experience than I had expected!

This is our beautiful baby girl and my handsome husband. By far my favorite thing about motherhood has been just watching my husband be a daddy. He loves her so much that he has a hard time describing it to her so he just kisses her a lot. It's so sweet. This is her at 2 weeks old. She's currently coming up on 3 months ( excuse me while I cry) and has quite the personality. The sweetest thing I tell ya! This picture was taken by another talented friend of mine Kelce Perry!

I can tell you as a Christian woman...The Spirit of The Lord was so present during my pregnancy. He spoke to me daily using our daughter to teach me about grace and kindness. Now that she's here I feel like He's even more present (if that's even possible). Now He uses her in real time teaching me how to love unconditionally and using motherhood to bring out all the fruits of the Spirit that I've already had planted in my soul. Being a mommy is absolutely amazing. I so appreciate all my mother has done for me now that I know how selfless mothers actually have to be. I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy or a better tribe to experience this with. Thank you Jesus.

More new stuff...

CN Photography took a very long break during my months of pregnancy. Combine pregnancy with a full time job and you get a tornado of busy-ness. I have missed the camera so much! So I decided to brush up on my skills learning from fellow photographers, reaching out to local businesses, getting involved in small business groups and over loading on sessions with family and friends to test all these things out. Since I spruced up my skills I decided to spruce up the website and gave CN Photography a face lift! With a whole new brand launching this month I'm ready for this season! I love what I do. I love photography. I love learning new things and meeting new people through this business. The Lord has blessed this business immensely the past few weeks and so I wanted to give back to my followers.

With this re-branding/ makeover I'm offering discounted sessions for a limited time! These sessions are listed at a price that you won't see any other time.
