Happy Friday everyone! Whether you work a 9-5 or you're at home mom Friday = Freedom! It's everyone's favorite day of the week. Beloved by children and adults alike, Friday is most certainly more popular than Monday.

I'm starting a new series on the blog called flashback Friday. We'll take a walk down memory lane to some of my favorite sessions and I'll give you the scoop on whats on sale for the month/season.

Today I would like to take a look back at one of my favorite engagement sessions in THE most beautiful winter light I have ever encountered.

Mafe and Josh have been married for well over a year now. I remember getting a text from my friend asking me if I was busy on a random Thursday night. My husband and I hurried down to their apartment in downtown Fredericksburg for a SURPRISE engagement. My heart literally melted. Surrounded by all of their friends we proposed a toast to the eternal covenant Mafe and Josh were about to venture into. Not long after I took some engagement pictures at the battlefields in Spotsylvania...then my heart melted again. Below are a couple of the images from their session.
